Alba - Restaurant Italien Reims

Superb restaurant, very kind and friendly waiter. The setting is truly lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish (aranchini, pistachio pizza, truffle pasta, and pistachio cream puffs for dessert). Just remember to make a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend.

Saw on social media how great it was here. The pizzas were tasty and the tiramisu was okay. But we wouldn't go back because of the atmosphere, it is very commercial… & The waiters are quite rude. Watch out! They just put water on your table but you have to pay for it.

The main courses were very very good; the dessert I did not enjoy that much(stracciatella ice cream - it just tasted sweet); the champagne the waitress recommended tasted very good as well. The server and the bartender was very nice. The decor was interesting.

Great place! Lovely pasta’s and the pizza’s looked amazing as well. Lovely ambiance. Would definitely recommend!

Noisy! Too expensive for what it is!

Dinner for a group of 9. The restaurant has several rooms, each with its own decor. Religious images adorn the entrance. A skylight in the middle makes the room bright, giving the impression of being outdoors. The back room is larger, with a wood-paneled decor and many mirrors on the walls. It can accommodate large tables (10-12 people) with more space between them. The high ceilings make it less noisy. The pizzas were good, a reliable choice. The pasta dishes were less impressive, not generous enough for those who ordered them. We were very disappointed with the desserts. The tiramisu was either classic or made with red berries, but tasteless. There weren't enough ladyfingers, and they felt soggy. Too much cream, making them heavy. The lemon tart had an aftertaste of refrigerator (which had been stored with garlic-seasoned food). It was inedible, and the portion was really small (smaller than what you'd buy in a store). Order ice cream instead. The cocktails were good, with a minimum price of €9. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

It was absolutely excellent. The service was very fast, and the staff were really friendly and smiling. Personally, I'm not a fan of the religious decor with crosses, statues, and images of Christ everywhere, but to each their own... I felt like I was eating in a church 😅 The meal was excellent, but I'm not a convert by any means 😇😉

Great experience! The service was quick. It was quite noisy as it was very busy, but other than that, everything was perfect. The salmon was a little too salty for my taste, but otherwise, the dish was very good. The portions were decent; I even took some home. I ordered a cocktail, but it was too sweet—probably from the syrup, but I really struggled with it.

A lovely spot in the heart of Reims, this Italian restaurant offers flavors reminiscent of the Italian provinces. I found the pasta portions a bit small (but I do have a hearty appetite). The quality, service, and ambiance were all excellent, with a very Italian decor. Definitely a restaurant to remember.

Italian restaurant? What a name… The cook has clearly never taken a cooking class… between the lack of seasoning, three different kinds of pasta on the plate, all undercooked… and a taste of Italy that was completely nonexistent! A tiramisu as hard as a block of concrete with 100 grams of sugar on top—surely the cook's real profession! A bricklayer… one has to wonder why it has so many good reviews; I absolutely do not recommend it!
