We had a very good meal for Mr.'s birthday

We ate there while on holiday in Reims, just the two of us. The moules frites and the chuck roast with Roquefort sauce were fantastic. A huge bonus point for the lovely staff who sent my girlfriend her sunglasses, which she had forgotten there.

A highly convenient but ultimately average spot. While the massive menu offers something for everyone and the service is incredibly fast, the food feels mass-produced and lacks flavor. It does the job for a quick, budget-friendly bite, but don't expect a memorable meal.

During our shopping trip, our eyes were drawn to the current special: mussels in cream sauce. That was all it took to convince our taste buds. No regrets whatsoever, as the friendliness of our waitress immediately reassured us that we'd made the right choice. The mussels were excellent, and we had a lovely time. Thank you.

I ordered my usual goat cheese salad. This one was very "minimalist" for the price I paid, around 16 euros ---> [3 mini goat cheese toasts, 5 small pieces of beetroot, 5 tiny carrot strands, and a HUGE amount of green salad]. Very disappointed this time, and I was hungry again at 4 pm. Otherwise, the service was decent and the staff friendly.

What's going on at Les Coteaux?? I've been eating at this restaurant regularly for almost 30 years. Last night was a disaster for everyone at the table. For my part, I ordered a calf's head—one slice on the plate, a single potato cut in half, and a handful of carrot slices… Very small portions, mediocre food quality, and extremely unfriendly staff. I had to politely ask for water four times and bread three times… This situation needs to be rectified if we are to avoid losing this fine Reims institution!

A quick and efficient Wednesday lunch, plus the coloring activities for children – a nice touch that makes all the difference! The waitresses were lovely!

We are regulars and always satisfied, except for this Thursday, May 6th. We arrived at 10:30 PM, a party of four, and given the time, we asked if it was possible to have dinner. After a positive response, we were disappointed. We were asked to order within 5 minutes, as the kitchen was closing. We were rushed. Our plates were cleared, and we were brought the bill. No dessert was offered. In fact, we were the last customers, good only for boosting their numbers. The moral of the story is that we will probably have a hard time returning anytime soon.

A wonderful time with the family. Very generous portions, excellent service! Impeccable service. A special shout-out to the intern, Myriam 😉
