A place you'll want to return to! The welcome is truly warm, with a simple and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you're visiting friends. Even our little dog was welcome and received a small bowl of water and plenty of cuddles. The food is excellent (special mention for the homemade pizza dough). We were even offered a small digestif at the end of our meal.

We arrived a little late for the last service of 2025. Some orders were no longer possible as they were out of starters and main courses. The owner apologized and offered us a drink, a rare gesture these days, which we greatly appreciated and for which we thank him. We will gladly return when we are in the area.

Thank you to the team and the owner of Les Pionniers. We arrived after opening hours and received a warm welcome. We had dinner and, during a chance conversation with the owner, had the pleasure of singing the Peña Baiona anthem, and a paquito dance was performed with some student patrons. 900km from our Basque Country, what a lovely surprise and a wonderful evening!
