Pizzeria Pulcinella

Good pizza. The cornicione was well done, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, uneven, slightly charred, and not overdone like in some pseudo-Neapolitan pizzerias. The tomatoes and mozzarella were good without being exceptional: the mozzarella had a rather subtle flavor, and the tomato sauce was too heavily seasoned with oregano, resulting in a slightly overly sweet taste. It's the kind of sauce you also find in Italy, it's just not my favorite. The atmosphere is pleasant, with nice Neapolitan music and a lovely terrace, though it does have those clichés that the French love so much (plastic lemons, empty Chianti bottles...). At least the plates weren't plastic/fake ceramic (like in an IT-trattoria...) or, even worse, decorated with a Vespa. Overall, a good Neapolitan pizzeria, reasonably authentic, even if perhaps not my absolute favorite.

Very disappointing! A very cold welcome, the table and glass were barely clean, the pasta was overcooked and dry (the suggested solution: reheat it in a pan…), the waitress wanted to clear the table while we were eating and rolled her eyes when I asked to finish. Her reaction when I pointed this out: "I don't have time to waste talking to you!" The owner's reaction when I expressed my disappointment: "No big deal, you can't please everyone!"

Delicious and generous pizzas. Reasonable prices. Generous and tasty desserts. Good value for money. Don't hesitate to go. There's a small open area, a terrace at the back of the restaurant, which is a welcome respite when it's hot. A pleasant time with friends.

Excellent Italian restaurant where everything is perfect. The ambiance, the decor, the music, and especially the cuisine with authentic Italian ingredients. Special mention for the wine list featuring great Italian wines.

A memorable evening! We were passing through Reims and spotted this pizzeria. It's small and cozy, but absolutely genuine and authentic, both in terms of the staff and the food, especially the pizzas. We tried the sausage and broccoli rabe pizza and the tarantina, each one better than the last! I think I've had the best Neapolitan pizzas I've ever had: crispy and flavorful crust, delicious and flavorful toppings. A dream! We finished with two homemade tiramisu, truly delicious and... abundant. Kudos to Gino for the quality, service, and kindness!

Perfect!

A true taste of Italy for an evening. The service was lovely and efficient, the food was divine, and the setting was charming. The pizzas were light and incredibly easy to digest, and the tiramisu was top-notch! Absolutely nothing to complain about, with unbeatable value for money :)
